jn82’s Epic Adventure

Day 4 [2 Feb 09] – London

Posted in London by jn82 on February 3, 2009

From around mid-day on the 1st it had already begun to snow, and the amount of snow fall increased steadily all throughout the day till the roads were snow covered by the night of the 1st. However what greeted everyone on the morning of the 2nd was totally unexpected.

Record snowfall in Britain for the last 18 years! 95%  of all public transport was suspended, with all busses not running and 10 out of 11 underground lines not 100% running at one point. Why? Because accidents can happen!

Also, the trains cannot possibly run on this:

Snow tracks

All schools were closed, and many people did not go to work. So instead, we built a snowman and snow angels.

Me and Holly the undersized snow (wo)man.

Oversized snow angel/corpse.

Snow corpse

Yes, I am told that I looked somewhat dead/knocked out. But do not worry friends and family, I am still much alive and well.

Merry Christmas in February.
